Tekashi69’s Child Sex Case Closed As He Deals With RICO Case

Tekashi69 is officially in the clear for his child sex case but given his current legal situation, the news isn’t as rewarding as it may seem. 

Back in October, the Brooklyn-bred rapper was sentenced to four years of probation with credit for one year, which left 6ix9ine with three years of probation and 1,000 hours of community service. 

At the time, the rapper was also instructed to stay away from any gang members and avoid all gang activity or risk being resentenced to prison time. 

But now, given the rapper’s recent arrest and incarceration, a judge has revoked the four year probation and instead given him credit for time served. In addition to that, he will no longer have to perform 1,000 hours of community service, as the judge cited his RICO case as the reason for the change of heart. 

According to TMZ, 6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro says because of the rapper’s federal case, the state is unable to enforce the terms of probation and community service, so as a result, the judge has closed the case for good. 

Unfortunately, 6ix9ine still faces life in prison for the federal racketeering case.
