Usher and his estranged wife, Grace Miguel, have officially called it quits after the singer filed for divorce.
According to court documents, obtained by The Blast, the “You Don’t Have To Call” singer filed for divorce on December 28th in Georgia.
The former couple married in 2015 and split earlier this year but it wasn’t official. However, they did release a joint statement saying, “After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
The split isn’t surprising for many after several allegations and lawsuits were made against the singer, claiming he spread herpes.
The two had no children together.
