Here Are Six Things To Do On And After New Year’s Eve

1. Go to a NYE Party

It’s a new year, which means it’s time to celebrate! Like most, you’ve probably already planned your New Year’s Eve festivities, but if not call up your friends or invite people over to celebrate. Pop bottles, play games and rejoice in what blessings the next year will bring you.

2. Travel

Switch it up and go travel for the new year. If you have the free time, bring in the new year in a new location, or one that brings you the most comfort. Seeing new places and meeting new people is a great way to start your new year.

3. Clean Up

The best way to have a clean slate for the new year is by throwing everything old out. Clean your home, wash all your clothes, sheets, dishes and take out the trash. You don’t want to have anything old or from the last year.

4. Set Goals/Vision Board

You should be setting goals prior to the new year but if you haven’t this is the perfect time to start. Invite friends over to create vision boards or buy a planner and write down your goals. Get focused on what you want to accomplish in the new year and stick to it.

5. Self-Reflect

An entire 365 days of your life just passed, sit down and think about that. Reflect on your accomplishments, the fun you’ve had and also the mistakes you’ve made. Take the time to hash out any emotions you might have suppressed and release any stress you may be holding in. You’ve been blessed with a new year, be prepared to make magic happen.

6. Hang with Friends and Family

There’s nothing like being with those you love during the transition into a new year. You don’t have to drink, but you must be merry. Watch a family movie, play games and tell funny stories from the last year. Tell each other your goals and how you plan to accomplish them – hold each other accountable for them.
