Police are stating that a member of R. Kelly’s team has connections to the shooting threat that was made during the showing of ‘Surviving R. Kelly.’⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to TMZ, the NYPD has Donnel Russell documented as a person of interest in the incident that took place last month in NYC. It’s noted that Russell is a business ally of Kelly. It was stated that the police want to speak to him about the threats that were phoned into a theater as it was showing the Lifetime docuseries.
Police tracked the number down to a man with a Chicago-based 773 area code. It was noted that the police have connected that number to Russell, and made an effort to contact with him, but have failed to get in touch him.
TMZ states that Russell was one of the men accused of threatening the father of Joycelyn Savage, one of Kelly’s supposed sex slaves, who has not been in touch with her family in years.
As for R. Kelly, he is dodging the effect of the sequence. He went out and celebrated his birthday at a Chicago nightclub while protestors chanted outside of his recording studio.
“It’s my m************ birthday, and I don’t give a fuck what’s going on tonight,” he stated to the audience.
