“Baby Shark” Is Now A Billboard Hot 100 Single

The super infectious, viral bop “Baby Shark (Doo Doo Do Doo Do Doo) about a family of pretty friendly sharks made its way onto the Billboard music charts despite being a craze since 2016, and has since scored the highest debut of the January 12 edition of the Hot 100, coming in at No. 32. ”Baby Shark” is one of very few children’s songs in history to have landed on the Billboard Hot 100.

The insanely addictive tune will be stuck in your head for days, but the adorable shark dance is appealingly simple, and something even the youngest toddler and most uncoordinated adult can do.

The “Baby Shark Dance” video has been a global hit among children that are five and under by extension of their parents since it debuted on YouTube in 2016. The video currently has nearly 2.2 billion views, making it one of the top 25 most-viewed videos in YouTube history.
