Dame Dash Calls Funkmaster Flex A “Slave” And Demands His “Masters” Bench Him At Hot 97

The beef between Dame Dash and Funk Flex seems to escalate every time they hit new lows.

Recently, Dame took to Instagram to demand that Flex’s bosses at Hot 97 intervene and put the DJ in check. This was in response to Flex’s comments about the rap mogul after his interview on Nick Cannon’s “Cannon’s Class” Podcast.

During the interview, Cannon brought up the longstanding rumors about the alleged nature of Jay-Z and Foxy Brown’s working relationship.

While Dame did not confirm the old rumors, his response didn’t do much to defend his former Roc-a-fella partner. The implied shade of his response drew immediate criticism from rapper 50 Cent and Funk Flex.

As 50 commented that the show should be renamed “2 suckers chatting class”, Flex went a step further, calling Dame a “disgrace” and referencing Dash’s failed marriage to fashion designer Rachel Roy by saying “Dame intern/wife took all his shit.” Roy was once an intern at Rocawear clothing.

But now, it seems Dame is no longer amused. In a response posted to his Instagram account, Dame, accompanied by his lovely daughter with Rachel Roy, Ava, addressed Flex and his bosses at Hot 97, as well as the CEO of the station’s parent company, Jeff Smulyan, with veiled legal threats.

In a lengthy written rant, Dame called Flex a “careercoon” and addressed the execs direction, saying:

“I’m letting you know now we have a problem, but I’m not dealing with a slave I’m gonna deal with your master @hot97 and Jeff Smulyan your slave has gone too far on your behalf, and it’s gonna cost you I suggest y’all holla at me before I holla at y’all it will be cheaper…but I suggest y’all bench your slave before he cost y’all more trust me.”
