Police On High Alert Preparing For The Michael Jackson ‘Leaving Neverland’ Premiere At The Sundance Film Festival

The long awaited Michael Jackson documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’ is set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 25th and cops are preparing for the worst. 

‘Leaving Neverland’ was created to examine the possibility that the sexual abuse allegations against MJ were actually true and fans are seeking to de-legitimize director Dan Reed and Sundance organizers gearing up for the premiere.

Police in Park City, Utah are well aware of the controversial documentary and are paying special attention to the Q&A portion of the screening,  which is believed to be the “boiling point” of the event. It’s being reported that officers on the scene have no intention of preventing protesters from exercising the First Amendment, as long as no one blocks the flow of traffic in the streets or sidewalks.

Sundance staff will follow police protocol in checking every bag that enters the premises and bomb dogs will be used as an extra precautionary measure as well.

Michael Jackson’s estate blasted #HBO for disloyalty over the documentary, stating, “This is yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson.”
