With Valentine’s Day less than a month away, Khloe Kardashian has fans up-in-arms about her on-again, off-again relationship with her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, after a comment about her relationship with best friend, Malika Haqq, suggested trouble in Cleveland paradise.
Earlier this week, in celebration of her new makeup line with Becca Cosmetics and Haqq, Kardashian opened up about the forthcoming holiday, and explained how she didn’t need a man to enjoy the day of love.
“People always make this huge emphasis on Valentine’s Day, but you have each other,” Kardashian said of her lady friends. “You don’t always need a man to enjoy Valentine’s Day.”
While that sentiment may be true, it did raise a few eyebrows for the fans (and readers, who constantly claim they don’t care) about the status of Kardashian’s relationship with the habitual cheater.
“I think a lot of best friends can relate, especially when someone is going through a breakup or whatever,” Kardashian explained, which added to the confusion, as she followed her questionable comments with ever more questionable Instagram quotes, including one that read, “relationships are harder now.”
In fact, fans are even convinced the New Years Eve relationship flop had something to do with it, when the baller ignored Kardashian’s twerk session. But, the two also shared photos of their midnight kiss, so the status remains unclear. In the meantime, the confusion comes just days after Kim suggested everyone on the Internet thought Khloe was an “idiot” for staying with the baller.
But, at the end of the day, who knows.
