YesJulz Gets Dragged By Black Twitter Again For Recent Freestyle About Blacks Killing Blacks and Never Giving Back

YesJulz is back at it again! Appropriating black culture and almost getting away with it. Big Draco aka #SouljaBoy posted a video clip of the social media influencer freestyling on #1amRadio, and the internet was not feeling her “rhymes”…at all.

While most of the freestyle wasn’t worth listening too, her choice of words and context at the end of her performance is what has Black Twitter up in arms and dragging her for filth.

YesJulz said, “…because my ass is fat and my skin ain’t black, I’m a vulture catcher. Yet they never do nothing and they never give back. They keep killing Blacks…” And all of this was said in a room full of “blacks,” who are shown in the video bopping and hyping her up.

YesJulz already has a reputation for being considered a “culture vulture” and appropriating black culture on a consistent basis. She’s also been called out on various occasion for inappropriate comments and tweets, some resulting in her being fired from gigs.

In 2017, the self-proclaimed “Queen Of Snapchat” tweeted, “So…am I allowed to wear this shirt at the festival tomorrow or nah” with a photo of a t-shirt that read ‘N**gas lie a lot.” For that, she was fired from 2 Toronto music festivals.

Last year, she accompanied #KanyeWest on his trip to Uganda and was deemed by critics as part of problem with Voluntourism, which according to Vice, is  a phenomenon in which overwhelmingly white groups of people go to countries in Africa or elsewhere in the Global South to engage in short-term charity, regardless of having any skill or qualification relevant to a given cause.

In response to her freestyle, Twitter users voiced their unimpressed opinions, and some even criticized Soulja Boy for promoting her platform. One user tweeted, “Why do all of these n**gas that claim to ride for Black women follow YesJulz.” Another tweeted, “So you think Black people killing Black People justifies you being called out culturally appropriating Black Culture? #YesJulz”
