Sometimes imagination is the only weapon a person needs, at least for a few minutes.
According to WTSP, a man named Steven, age 56, walked into a Szechuan Palace restaurant in Gainesville, Florida and waited inside for nearly 30 minutes before approaching a female worker at the counter.
Police say he then pointed his finger at her face like a gun and demanded money. The worker handed over $577 from the register. Gainesville police said his actions led her to believe he really did have a weapon.
Officers later located him, and police say he admitted to the robbery. Even though no weapon was involved, he was charged with armed robbery because police say the worker was made to believe he had one. He was being held at the Alachua County jail on a $25,000 bond, and the charge is an allegation until proven in court.
All of that over one finger.
