Tekashi69 has beefed up security to keep his mom and family members safe since agreeing to cooperate with the feds, and it’s costing him tons of money.
Since his arrest in November, the private security team has been a necessary precaution, but sources tell TMZ the rapper is worried now more than ever that anyone looking for revenge against him may want to harm her since he’s implicated members of the Nine Trey Bloods in multiple crimes.
Tekashi’s attorney, Dawn Florio told TMZ, “6ix9ine has means to pay for his family’s private security, so the government expects the money to come out of his pocket to protect his closest family members.”
The rapper just pled guilty to an array of charges and also snitched in the process, even identifying the alleged trigger man in the attempted shooting of rival Chief Keef. The alleged gunman, in that case, has since been indicted.
Tekashi’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his 3-year-old daughter Sara Molina told TMZ that she has hired her own round the clock security that she’s paying for herself to keep her and her daughter safe from retaliation threats.
The rapper is set to be sentenced next January, and his deal with prosecutors required him to continue to work with the feds- which will continue to mark him and his family as a target.
