The orange hue of Trump’s skin that people commonly joke about is allegedly due to “great genes,” a senior administrative official told the New York Times on the condition of anonymity. Regardless of how abnormal it is to have a tan so bright all year, the administration maintains that Trump gets it from his mama or dad.
However, in James Comey’s memoir, “A Higher Loyalty,” the former FBI chief recalled noticing the Trump’s blood-orange glow, as well as “bright white half-moons under his eyes where I assumed he placed small tanning goggles.”
Additionally, in #OmarosaManigault’s book “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House,” the former White House aide and Apprentice contestant also mentioned how Trump would spend hours in his tanning bed.
The official also noted the only cosmetics Trump uses are translucent powder he applies himself before TV appearances. As expected, the statement has made social media erupt into a cycle of laughter, with Trump being their target for jokes. “Trump has good genes everywhere but right around his eyes,” said one user.
