ABC is cheffing up two new pilots, one of which will be brought to life by media mogul #50Cent and director-screenwriter George TillmanJr.

ABC is set to have nine dramas and six comedies this upcoming season. One of those projects will be produced by new partners “The Last Ship” co-creator/executive producer Hank Steinberg, Power executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and “The Goldbergs” executive producer Doug Robinson. “The Hate U Give” director #GeorgeTillmanJr is set to direct the pilot and serve as executive producer.

The second project is titled “United We Fall,” which will be a multi-camera multicultural family comedy from “Making History” creator Julius Sharpe, Julia Gunn and Seth Gordon. Both are produced by Sony Pictures TV and ABC Studios. As for 50’s untitled show, reports say the project will tell the story of a prisoner who becomes a lawyer, who assists with other inmates cases while simultaneously working to have his life sentence dropped for a crime he didn’t commit.

Steinberg, Tillman, Jackson and his G-Unit Film & Television production company and Wright will executive produce the series adaptation alongside Robinson and Alison Greenspan via Doug Robinson Productions. Sony TV, where the company is based, co-produced with ABC Studio, Deadline reports.
