Police paid Chris Brown a welfare check following his Instagram fight with rapper Offset, in which he posted his home address.

Last Friday, the singer-songwriter posted his San Fernando Valley address on Instagram during a fight with rapper #Offset. In doing so, Brown demanded Offset “pull up” to his exact home address so the two could fight it out. Later that night, Brown got a knock on his door, but it wasn’t from Offset, it was from LAPD. TMZ reports someone contacted police because they were worried Brown wasn’t in his right state of mind after posting his address to his more than 50 million social media followers.

When police arrived at 10:30 p.m., Brown’s security confirmed the singer was fine and that he had no issues with Offset. Sources close to the incident say officials advised Brown to take down the post, which has since been deleted.

The entire incident stemmed from a post Brown put on his social media, which seemingly joked at the 21 Savage’s ICE detainment. Upset by the post, Offset commented “memes ain’t funny lame,” which sparked a back-to-back social media attack between the two.  The argument moved to the artists’ DMs, where they planned to meet up and box it out. So far, there are no details on if Offset has been contacted by police.
