Nickelodeon has announced that it is working on a reboot of its popular teen show “All That,” which will be produced by one of its original stars- Kenan Thompson.
In an interview with Variety, Brian Robbins, president of Nickelodeon, shared some details regarding the return.
“We think there’s a great opportunity to find the next pool of stars,” he said. “We want to bring the show back in a real fun way. This summer, we are going to bring back a lot of the original cast and the cast through the years, and let them introduce the new cast of All That to the world.” He didn’t confirm which former cast members might make an appearance, but he did reveal that the show would be a “mash-up of some of the old sketches and a lot of new sketches.”
“All That” has helped launch the careers of many of the shows former casts like Nick Cannon, Amanda Bynes, Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson who will return as a producer to the new reboot while still working as an active cast member on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”
No word yet on an exact date of when the show will hit the airwaves but judging by the reaction on Twitter, fans are all excited.
