Former Cowboys RB Joseph Randle Denies Rape Allegations In Court

Former Cowboys running-back Joseph Randle yelled, “She never said no,” in court after denying that he raped a woman in September.

Last fall, Randle was arrested in Kansas on 11 charges, including rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated battery and aggravated kidnapping of a woman. On Tuesday, the woman testified in court, claiming Randle punched her in the face and forced her to have sex without her consent, according to the Wichita Eagle. The woman said she was able to escape to a neighbor’s home, which was located down the hall, to call the police.

In his own defense, the football player shouted, “She didn’t tell me,” and, “She never said nothing. She never said no. So how am I supposed to know?”

Randle is being represented by two court-appointed defense attorneys, who stated Randle is not fully equipped to take the stand in his trial, as he has previously been admitted into mental health facilities. However, Judge Kevin O’Connor disagreed with the lawyers, noting that Randle had spoken out of turn several times through the trial. “I don’t feel like the proof is enough to go forward in this case,” Randle said.

Randle is now set to be arraigned on Feb. 25.
