Juelz Santana has officially turned himself in to begin his 2-year prison sentence for federal firearms charges.
Back in March, Santana was arrested for bringing a .38-caliber Derringer to Newark Liberty International airport and fleeing the scene. A few months later, the rapper was indicted on two federal firearms charges and then released on house arrest.
Eventually, Santana was sentenced to 27 months behind bars for the federal crime, set to turn himself in on January 30. But, due to the filming schedule for “Love and Hip Hop: New York,” a judge allowed the rapper to postpone his surrender date to February 28.
Santana is expected to be released sometime around 2021, however, his release date is currently listed as “unknown.”
