In a massive blockbuster trade, the New York Giants have agreed to trade superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, in exchange for Beckham, the Giants will receive the No. 17 overall pick in the 2019 draft, a third-rounder, and New Jersey native, Jabrill Peppers.
Despite the tensions over Beckham’s off-field antics and front office disagreements, the superstar receiver recorded 390 catches on 3,476 yards and 44 touchdowns in 59 appearances after the 2014 draft. He even landed a five-year, $95 million contract extension in August, but as it turns out, the Giants still moved to trade.
Now, Beckham will most likely take over as the Browns’ top target for Baker Mayfield, as he reunites with longtime friend and former LSU teammate, Jarvis Landry.
