Back in 2017, Daily Mail published an explosive report about Kevin Hunter’s infidelities, detailing a decade-long affair between him and massage therapist, Sharina Hudson. Three months later, rumors surfaced of an alleged pregnancy, which ultimately, catapulted Williams into an alcohol and pill-fueled depression – following her own private investigation into the rumors.
But now, amid recent reports that Hunter and Hudson have welcomed a baby girl – marking the tip of the iceberg for Williams who’s been seen without her wedding ring – a former friend and employee of the troubled couple is speaking out about the entire ordeal.
“I don’t understand how Wendy Williams can continue to get on TV every day and lie to people,” Charlamagne said on ‘The Breakfast Club.’ “For years, she’s gotten on TV and radio and told women to leave for less, and now, we’re sitting back watching her get emotionally abused, and she’s saying nothing.”
“Kevin Hunter is a sucker, and he’s been a sucker,” Charla continued. “He’s been a sucker for Sharina Hudson aka Nicki for a long time. The reason I don’t deal with Kevin and Wendy anymore is because Kevin thought that I was trying to hook Sharina up with Wax back in 2009. Mind you; she liked Wax, so I had nothing to do with that.”
As Charla continued, he highlighted the fact that Hunter was married at the time. “That’s why he stopped dealing with me, so I don’t know what he told Wendy. That’s why I never really been mad at Wendy, cause it’s not like he said, ‘Hey, Charlamagne tried to hook my side-chick up with his homeboy.’”
Hours after the radio show aired, Charla elaborated with Page Six.
“The real rehab she needs is from Kevin Hunter,” Charlamagne Tha God said, as he went on to explain the demise of their friendship.
“The reason Kevin Hunter and I fell out, and the reason why I don’t communicate with Wendy anymore is because of Sharina,” the radio host said, as he went on to detail an incident that occurred in 2009. “Kevin got upset because he thought Sharina liked one of my homeboys and he thought that I was hooking Sharina up [with other men].”
Charla’s radio career kicked off in 2006 on 107.5 WBLS with Williams, and during that time, Charla introduced Hunter to one of his longtime friends from Columbia, South Carolina. Turns out, it was Hudson. When the couple moved Charla to New York, Hudson came too, as they both lived in a New Jersey condo, paid for by the couple.
Although at the time, Charla was unclear if the two had started their affair, he did say Hunter became more difficult as time went on – until eventually, Hunter fired him. Since then, Charla said, “Kevin has literally gone out of his way to try to stop my livelihood, to cut my head off and stop me from other jobs. He has done it a couple of times. Kevin has definitely got a couple of cease and desist letters from my attorney.”
