Ice Cube should be having another “good day” since his ‘BIG 3’ Basketball League has been awarded $21 million in a defamation lawsuit they brought up against Champions Basketball League in 2017.
The CBL originally sued ‘BIG 3’ for $250 million claiming they were defrauded by the BIG3 because they would not allow players to play for both leagues, however their lawsuit was dropped. The ‘BIG 3’ countersued CBL In 2017 for defamation based on CBL’s false claims.
‘BIG 3’ lawyer, Greg Kirakosian, will file the paperwork for the court to sign off on the judgement to make it official, leaving the ‘Champions’ League one last chance to challenge the motion next month.
