Last week, Lee Daniels filed legal documents against Dame Dash, Dash’s ex-wife, Rachel Roy, and his baby mama Cindy Morales, over the women’s attempt to get their hands on the money Daniels owes Dash. In the docs obtained by The Blast, Daniels said the women served him with subpoenas to gather information about their settlement, in an attempt to collect the money owed to them for Dash’s back child support.
But now, the music mogul is firing back with new docs to keep his ex-wife and baby mama away from the settlement money.
In the docs obtained by the publication, Dash asked a judge to vacate the subpoenas the women sent to Daniels, as he believes the amount the women are after is grossly inaccurate. Dash said a portion of his business income was garnished and “substantial additional monies paid by Dash on the Support Collection Unit accounts were finally acknowledged by their office on August 16, 2018.” As a result, he said the women are asking for hundreds of thousands of dollars more than they are owed, so he wants them both to steer clear of his settlement.
In the meantime, Daniels is still just looking for a judge to tell him who to pay.
