Jim Jones avoids jail time in gun and drug case by copping a plea deal.

Back in June, Jones and three others were arrested in Coweta County, GA after their car led to a police chase. Police found weed, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges and two loaded pistols inside the vehicle.

No one in the vehicle admitted to owning any of the items, so all parties were arrested. Jim was officially charged a few months later and then sentenced to two years probation and a $1,500 Fine plus court fees.

Since then, TMZ reports that three of the six charges were dropped, including the felony drug charge and two felony counts of possession of a firearm. The other three charges will also be dropped only if Jones stay out of trouble while on probation, which is apart of his plea deal.

In the meantime, Jim has to stay off alcohol and drugs for the next couple of years and report to his probation officer in Georgia.
