Federal investigators in the state of Illinois are looking to smoke Kelly out in his own backyard by interviewing associates of the embattled singer to help their sex trafficking investigation.
According to TMZ, federal prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District Of Illinois contacted close associates of Kelly and want to speak with them, immediately.
There are currently two separate U.S. Attorneys that are looking into the singer. The Eastern and Southern Districts of New York are investigating him and to add a little more heat, the Northern District of Illinois will be joining forces.
TMZ is also reporting that Homeland Security is also looking into Kelly for possible human trafficking.
