In the wake of the surprise release of Beyonce’s 40-song “Homecoming Live” Album, which coincided with the highly anticipated release of her Netflix documentary of the same name, the Queen may be giving us a new project for our listening pleasure.
Much like the 109-minute audio version of Beyonce’s Iconic Coachella performance, the Houston-bred living legend is preparing to release an audio version of her equally-iconic “Lemonade” film. According to Variety, the audio album will include poetry written by Warsan Shire and speeches by Malcolm X, following the films’ 11 chapter format -“Intuition,” “Denial,” “Anger,” “Apathy,” “Emptiness,” “Accountability,” “Reformation,” Forgiveness,” “Resurrection,” “Hope,” and “Redemption.”
The audio project is set to be released on all music streaming services on Tuesday, April 23, just three days after Beyonce’s Netflix premiere, in which she paid tribute to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
