Kodak Black “went missing” on Wednesday after he was scheduled to perform at The House of Blues in Boston but never showed up; Leaving fans waiting for hours before his team completely cancelled the gig. Well it turns out, Kodak wasn’t necessarily “missing.” According to reports, Kodak was actually in the custody of U.S. Customs agents, and now he’s with California police for charges of criminal possession of a weapon, which is a felony, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
According to TMZ, Kodak was driving a Cadillac Escalade with a temporary California registration, along with two others, attempting to enter the U.S. at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge when police say they discovered weed on him. They searched the vehicle and also found a Glock 9mm pistol, which no one in the Escalade claimed.
A Porsche with three other individuals was also traveling with Kodak’s crew, and that driver admitted to having two loaded handguns, however, police found a third in the trunk, as well as more marijuana.
Currently, Kodak is still in custody, being held on a $20,000 cash bond or $40,000 bond.
