As TI’s daughter approaches her 18th birthday, she warns “grown men” that it’s still not okay to lust after an 18-year-old.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in the Harris family, especially when it comes to being outspoken. Tip’s daughter, Deyjah Harris, took to her Instagram to issue a PSA about her upcoming birthday. In two months, the “Princess of the South” will turn 18, but just because the law says dating older men is legal, that doesn’t mean it’s socially normal for everyone else.
“I just wanna quickly say that just because I’m turning 18 in June, that doesn’t mean: 1. that ya’ll will even get the chance [lmaoooooooo] 2. More importantly, that still don’t make it right for you grown ass men to try and get at me… eighteen. I will still be a TEENAGER!!!,” Deyjah stated.
Harris concluded that the same men that lust after teens should consider their daughters and family members. “If you’re not ok with someone your age tryna get with your daughter, sister, niece, etc., then don’t think it’s ok with me. That’s it, and that’s all!!!”
