Actor Nicolas Cage filed for an annulment after only four days of marriage, and now his “wife” is not leaving without a fight.
Although Erika Koike agrees that her marriage to Cage is null and void, she believes that their union doesn’t qualify for an annulment.
According to official documents obtained by TMZ, Koike is seeking spousal support for loss of income during her relationship with Cage and is also asking for him to cover the cost of her legal fees.
Koike defended her request for spousal support, stating that her reputation has been “damaged by his allegations” and that Cage has attempted to reconcile their relationship since he moved to end their marriage.
Meanwhile, Cage claims that his marriage to Koike was based on fraud and that he, “reacted on impulse and without the ability to recognize or understand the full impact of his actions.”
The two had been dating since April of 2018, before tying the knot in Las Vegas on March 23, 2019.
