Over $500,000 in cash and jewelry were taken from Soulja Boy’s San Fernando Valley home earlier this month, and new details point to signs of an inside job.
According to TMZ, sources close to the rapper say security footage proves that the burglars were tipped off to the location of the personal safe and when to enter the home.
It’s been reported that Soulja Boy was in jail at the time of the burglary on probation violation charges, but members of his team were at the property right before the thieves entered the home. Apparently, video surveillance shows that the thieves made away with all of the cash and jewelry in only 5 minutes.
TMZ added that Soulja Boy’s home is difficult to find unless you’re familiar with the area and evidence shows that the thieves even knew to break-in through a “door that was damaged during the February police raid.”
Sources say that local authorities have been given access to Soulja Boy’s footage of the burglary and that the rapper is making a few changes. He’s fixing the damaged door and adding a team of security!
