Looks like Tyga and concert promoter, Heavy Rotation, have finally reached an agreement.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Tyga and Heavy Rotation have agreed to a $1.4 million settlement in their year-long legal battle over performance in the Middle East and the case has been dismissed.
In 2018, Heavy Rotation filed a lawsuit against the rapper over several missed performances in the United Arab Emirates. Tyga allegedly agreed to three performances and pulled out after offers for more money were made by another club in Dubai. The Blast reported that Heavy Rotation claimed Tyga’s decision “caused them to suffer monetary damages” and as a result, promoters sought $1.4 million in compensation.
Tyga denied all allegations stating that he never would have agreed to the restrictions of not performing at other venues. In addition, Tyga asked for the case to be thrown out and accused Heavy Rotation of failing to get much-needed approvals from one of the clubs he was supposed to be performing at.
Apparently, the rapper is putting an end to all his legal drama this month, as this news comes after his recent decision to end his lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money for unpaid royalties.
