What happens when you file a lawsuit but don’t show up to court? The judge drops your case. And that’s exactly what happened in the legal battle between Offset and a stylist company.
The Meyhem Group, a Miami-based “personal stylist/shopper company, sued the Migos member earlier this year, claiming they gave him $11,699.60 worth of merchandise that the rapper “acknowledges he owes but still has refused to pay,” even after providing him with receipts.
The scheduled hearing was for April 23rd, however The Meyhem Group nor Offset showed up and as a result, the judge threw the entire case out. According to The Blast, Offset may have been a no-show due to the fact that he hasn’t even been served with legal docs.
The Meyhem Group sued for the full $11,669.60, plus $1,500 in interest.
