Floyd Mayweather has responded to the lawsuit filed by his baby mama, Josie Harris. Back in May it was reported that Josie was taking Floyd to court, claiming that he lied in his interview with Katie Couric — especially about the part where he said he had to restrain (not beat) her because she was in a drug fueled rage. Josie was asking for $20 million in her suit. According to Floyd, he wasn’t lying about Josie’s drug use and he can prove it.
Floyd says that he has medical records where Josie admitted to taking drugs including Xanax, Wellbutrin, and marijuana. To add, Josie also admitted in court to taking Ecstasy back in 2004.
Floyd also claims that he also did not lie about any physical altercations with Josie. When Katie Couric asked if he had “kicked, stomped, or beaten” Josie, he answered no. Which could technically be true considering Josie claimed he “pulled her hair, dragged her, twisted her arm and kicked her.” No punch, no beat. Technicalities.
