Have you ever read a story that was so close to something you would do that you had to think twice to make sure you weren’t reading a headline about yourself? That’s how I feel about this story of Barvetta Singletary, a special assistant to the president who stole her man’s gun and tried to shoot him after finding out he was a cheating dog.Â
According to reports, Singletary lured her boyfriend to her home, promising him sex. What man can turn down sex, right? Well, when he got home, sex wasn’t all he was going to get. Apparently Singletary stole his gun and fired a shot at him because he was sleeping with another woman. I don’t know, seems like a good enough reason to shoot a man, if you ask me.
Luckily for Singletary’s boyfriend, who happens to be a US Capitol Police officer, the bullet missed and hit the floor. Unfortunately for Singletary, police were called. She was arrested and charged with domestic violence. She was also put on unpaid leave and her access to the White House revoked.
Domestic violence is not a laughing matter. This still sounds like something I would do, though. Free Barvetta!
