Just one year after rumors first surfaced of a relationship between Kendall Jenner and Sixers star, Ben Simmons, PEOPLE reports the two have officially called it quits.
Although Jenner just recently confirmed her relationship with Simmons on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ in February, the two had been on-and-off for a little over a year. However, the relationship almost immediately sparked widespread controversy after reports claimed Simmons moved on just days after his break up with R&B singer, Tinashe.
In fact, as the exes fired shots back and forth, with Simmons suggesting that the singer had been low-key stalking him and his new chick, Jenner dealt with her own drama upon being named a home wrecker in Blake Griffin’s legal battle against his baby mama.
After that, the two spent the summer breaking up and making up, until September when new rumors claimed the two grew apart due to conflicting schedules. But in February, despite previously being seen kissing Gigi and Bella Hadid’s brother, Anwar, Jenner confirmed their relationship, and in May, Jenner opened up about the relationship in Vogue.
But now, after Jenner had been allegedly spotted with ex, Jordan Clarkson and friend Luka Sabbat earlier this month, sources tell PEOPLE that Jenner and Simmons are “on a break.”
“The relationship ran its course,” the source said. “She’s spending time with her friends and back to being fun mode.”
