Last week, Kodak Black was arrested on federal weapons charges ahead of his performance at Rolling Loud Miami. Days later, Black put his $600,000 home up as collateral for his $500,000 bond, and as part of the agreement, a judge ordered him to house arrest.

However, as a result of the arrest, officials in South Carolina moved to revoke bail in his sexual assault case, as the arrest violated the terms of his release. In turn, Florida officials were ordered to release Black in two days or appeal his bond.

Since then, the state has appealed the ruling, and as a result, Black has been denied bond, at least for now. In court documents obtained by Complex, officials listed Black’s South Carolina assault of a teenage girl as the main reason to keep him locked up. However, instead, his lawyer offered 24-hour supervision upon release in exchange for another week in jail.

“My company is willing and able to escort and transport him back to the Southern District of Florida should the State of South Carolina subsequently release Mr. Kapri from home confinement within the Southern District of Florida pursuant to pre-trial release ordered by this court.”

But, despite the lawyer’s request, the judge ruled to keep Black behind bars until the South Carolina situation is figured out. According to Complex, Black’s trial is scheduled to begin June 24, and he is expected to remain behind bars at least until Wednesday.
