Nipsey Hussle went hard for his set, Rollin’ 60s, from the beginning until the end and it seems as though his set is going hard for his legacy in return.

The Crips holding company, Crips LLC, filed a trademark application on May 16th for “The Marathon Continues,” according to documents obtained by The Blast. The goal is to use the slogan in a variety of community services, including “Arranging and conducting youth sports programs.”

Among services listed for Nipsey’s catchphrase, the Crips included, “Developing educational manuals for others in the field of community organizing, gang prevention” and “gang intervention.” The filing also mentions entertainment services to be provided by celebrities, comedians, rappers and “community organizers” from both the Crips and the Bloods.

A documentary titled “The Marathon Continues” was also mentioned, scheduled to be released this summer on “all streaming platforms.”

It’s unknown at this time if Nipsey’s family is on board with the Crips taking over the trademark for the slogan or if they will fight to keep the name in the family.
