This fall, Walmart will start delivering groceries inside shoppers’ homes, right into your kitchen refrigerator.

The company will begin pilot testing this feature in three cities: Pittsburgh, Kansas City (Missouri) and Vero Beach, Florida. Nearly 1 million people across these cities will have access to Walmart’s new in-home delivery option.

According to CNBC, the company said it would “learn and scale” in-home delivery from there. Walmart’s e-commerce chief, Marc Lore, said, “there’s incredibly high perceived value” with in-home delivery since the retailer is saving people time spent organizing the fridge.

If you’re curious how the new in-home delivery service will work, here’s how:

Customers wishing to use the service must have Walmart install a smart lock on the outside of their home or garage.

Then, they can place a grocery order from Walmart.com or the Walmart mobile app, selecting “In-Home Delivery,” along with a specific delivery day, at checkout. Customers can opt to have orders delivered straight to the kitchen or to the garage. Then a Walmart employee will then be assigned to do the grocery shopping. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

At the scheduled delivery time, the assigned Walmart worker will use a proprietary, wearable camera device and enter a one-time code on a smart lock to access the customer’s home, allowing the customer to control the worker’s access into his or her home, and offers one the ability to watch the delivery remotely.

Walmart isn’t offering any details yet on the additional costs to customers. More details about the service launches this fall.
