The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 74th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts highlighted Pride Month and celebrated the LGBTQ community, and broke down its full initialism. Amid the discussion, the hosts also touched on Lil Nas X’s recent admission, which most fans believed to be him coming out. But, according to Simmons, he may be trolling, since he hasn’t explicitly stated, “Hey guys, I’m gay.” But, what do you think?
As the segment continued, the hosts opened up about the most recent Kardashian drama, which unfolded after the sisters rehashed the Jordyn Woods/Tristan Thompson scandal on their longstanding show. In the series finale, Khloe Kardashian lashed out over the alleged scandal, calling Thompson and Woods “fat asses.” The comment sparked widespread backlash, considering Khloe Kardahsian’s history of insecurity and body positivity.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kylie asked her older sisters to stop bullying Woods, which also sparked debate over the Kardashians’ immaturity. But, according to Burns, at the end of the day, “No woman should fall out over a man, and vice versa.”
Before the segment wrapped, Burns highlighted the NBA’s expensive free agency, which kicked off with $3 billion in contracts. That’s Baller.
Next, Simmons shared this week’s Baller Mail, before Octavia, filling in for Su Solo, shared this week’s Comment Creepin. The comment, this week, focused on the longstanding drama between Bow Wow and his ex, Kimoyi Leslie. While, Bow has been able to share his side on the show, “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta,” Leslie took to social media to share hers.
“His weak ass mama called me sounding all concerned after her son beat me,” she wrote. “Theresa knew her son beat me numerous times and still got on national television and lied. You lucky my mama raised me to respect women because…Whew trash.”
As Leslie continued, explaining their situation, Erica Mena, Bow’s ex, confirmed Leslie’s claims and claimed he even broke Ciara’s finger years back. What are your thoughts?
Before the episode wrapped, Burns shared this week’s words of wisdom, saying, “You can be vulnerable and still be powerful…The best people embody both sides.”
