Back in 2013, Terrence Howard’s ex wife, Michelle Ghent, accused him of giving her a black eye while the two were vacationing in Costa Rica. Ghent, who was granted a divorce three months prior to this incident, obtained a restraining order after she says she and Terrence began arguing when he grabbed her by the neck, kicked her, pushed her against the bathroom wall and began strangling her. Howard says the fight was mutual and that Ghent pepper sprayed him.
No word on what took Michelle Ghent so long to file a suit, but she did so just in time — waiting just one day before the statute of limitations ran out.
