While fans are waiting for the newest season of Love and Hip Hop New York to air, the drama off-screen between Remy Ma and Brittney Taylor has been enough to keep everyone tuned in.
These two have been in the headlines for months, after an alleged physical altercation that took place at a charity event back in April and now, the two are battling it out in court.
Remy Ma, who was charged with third-degree assault for allegedly punching Taylor in the face, claims that her castmate has been harassing her stepdaughter, Dejanae Mackie, the daughter of her husband, Papoose and apparently there’s proof.
On Friday, the rapper’s lawyer Dawn Florio told the court that there is evidence that Taylor has been bothering Remy Ma’s stepdaughter by phone and on social media, Page Six reports. In fact, Florio plans to turn the screenshots over to prosecutors, in hopes of getting the entire case thrown out.
“Taylor has actively been calling my client’s daughter as well as tagging her on social media,” Florio told reporters outside the courtroom. “Remy doesn’t want her daughter to be harassed by Brittney.”
While neither Taylor or her lawyer appeared in court on Friday, Florio is certain that the DA’s office has an open mind. She is determined to get the case dismissed by Remy Ma’s next court appearance on September 26.
