Over the weekend, a dead baby was found in the bathroom trash can at a Texas Applebee’s.
According to police, an unknown woman went into the restroom around 4 p.m. on Friday and gave birth to a baby and left the restaurant, WFAA reports.
The publication also reports that the restaurant’s employees found the baby an hour and a half later while cleaning the restroom.
The baby’s gender was not revealed at the time. Police stated that they will not know whether the baby was born alive or stillborn until an autopsy is performed.
