A.J. Calloway, host of the syndicated entertainment news show “Extra,” has stepped down from his role after 14 years.
Warner Brothers issued a statement saying they have investigated the claims of Calloway’s conduct and he and the company “have mutually agreed to part ways.” The statement did not say when the agreement was made.
Prior accusations against Calloway were investigated as well and found no suggestion of workplace misconduct. However, Calloway was suspended in February after Warner Brothers was notified of additional allegations.
Calloway’s lawyer said her client vehemently denied ever assaulting anyone and looked forward to clearing his name in the past. However, his lawyer has yet to release a statement in the wake of his departure.
