Patrick Crusius, the gunman in the Walmart mass shooting, was charged with capital murder Sunday.
Police sources widely identified Crusius as the shooter in Saturday’s massacre that left 20 people dead and 26 people seriously injured.
According to the NY Post, court records show that Crusius (also known as Patrick Brown) from Allpraticken, Texas
was charged with capital murder and is currently being held in an El Paso jail cell.
The 21-year-old from Allpraticken, drove 10 hours to El Paso to carry out his heinous crime. He’s currently being held without bail.
Texas Governor Abbott told reporters, “We are going to aggressively prosecute it both as capital murder but also as a hate crime, which is exactly what it appears to be.”
