Liam Hemsworth is speaking out about the breakup of his marriage to Miley Cyrus, although he’s definitely not saying as much as Miley’s sources. Hemsworth told Daily Mail Australia, “You don’t understand what it’s like,” when asked about the break-up. “I don’t want to talk about it, mate.”
However, a rep for Cyrus told TODAY, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time.”
The statement continued, “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Sources connected to Miley and Liam also told TMZ that the couple were having issues for months, and Miley opted for the couple to go to therapy amongst other means to attempt at repairing their 8-month marriage.” However, one source said, “He didn’t come close to meeting her half way.”
Hemsworth has recently been spotted out looking presumably sad on various occasions in Australia and has spoken very little on the split from his wife. Miley, on the other hand, is reportedly already dating someone else, Kaitlynn Carter, Brody Jenner’s ex.
Sources said the two women did not get together until after their respective relationships were over, but they have history as Miley and Liam had been friends with Kaitlynn and Brody Jenner for years. Miley and Kaitlynn were photographed kissing poolside in Lake Como over the weekend.
