Yass Tituss, bring the excitement, bring the theatrics, bring the fun!
Four-time Emmy-nominated star Tituss Burgess will be hosting a new cooking competition series, ”Dishmantled,” by the creator of Chopped.
Deadline has described the show as “a high-octane cooking competition that will literally blow your socks off.”
Each episode is reported to start with a mystery food dish blasting from a cannon into the faces of blindfolded chefs. They’ll use their culinary expertise to figure out what the ingredients are, what the dish is, and then race against the clock to recreate it. Whichever chef comes closest to the original dish wins a cash prize.
Burgess is best known for his starring role as Tituss Andromedon in Netflix comedy series, ”Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” a role which earned him four Emmy nominations, along with a SAG award and two Critics’ Choice TV Awards.
”Dishmantled” will reportedly air on the new digital service Quibi. An air date is yet to be announced.
