The first ever NBPA The Players’ Awards airs tonight at 8pm on BET and Baller Alert got the chance to speak with a few players about why they felt having an awards show like this was important. Taped in Las Vegas just days after ESPN’s ESPY Awards, Baller Alert asked Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers), Ray McCallum (San Antonio Spurs), Dahntay Jones (Los Angeles Clippers) and BET CEO Debra Lee, the importance of a show where NBA Players decide the winners.
