6ix9ine, who is currently being held on federal racketeering charges, is expected to testify next month in the kidnapping assault case, which he was a victim back in 2018.
The rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, is set to testify against Anthony Ellison, who was formerly part of his management team.
Ellison has been accused of kidnapping and assaulting the rapper, and ahead of the trial, 6ix9ine is reportedly scared that the Nine Trey Bloods will resort to retaliation against members of his family if they cannot get access to him, according to Complex.
6ix9ine was allegedly pistol-whipped, kidnapped, and robbed in Aug. 2018, leaving him hospitalized. But, Ellison’s attorneys recently claimed that the rapper faked the incident for publicity.
Now, ahead of the trial, TMZ is reporting that 6ix9ine is fearing for both his safety behind bars and his family’s safety on the outside ahead of the testimony he’s expected to give in court next month.
Unless Ellison settles for a plea deal, 6ix9ine is required to cooperate with the feds as part of his own plea deal.
