How many remember “The Rock” from WWE? “Can you smelllllll what The Rock is cooking?” Well these days, it smells like a whole lot of money as the wrestling star turned actor has been ranked as Forbes Paid Actor of 2019.
According to Forbes, the “Jumanji” actor earned $89.4 million from June 1, 2018 to June 1, 2019. Apparently, Johnson earns $700,000 for each episode of HBO’s “Ballers” and is expected to see a $23.5 million paycheck for “Jumanji: The Next Level” scheduled for release in December.
Johnson also has seven figures in royalties for his line of clothing, shoes, and headphones with Under Armour.
To round out the Top 5, Chris Hemsworth came in second earning $76.4 million, followed by Robert Downey Jr. who took third earning $66 million, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar earner $65 million and Jackie Chan earned $58 million for the year.
