Ty Lawson is having a pretty eventful year. He’s racked up two DUI’s, has been forced into rehab and now he’s been let go by the Denver Nuggets.Â
According to ESPN, the Rockets and Nuggets have agreed to a trade that will send Lawson to Houston and the Nuggets will land the non-guaranteed contract of Kostas Papanikolaou,  the partially guaranteed contract of Pablo Prigioni along with Joey Dorsey, Nick Johnson and the future 2016 protected first-round pick. Denver will send a 2017 second-round pick to Houston along with Lawson.Â
It looks like the Rockets really wanted Lawson. Hopefully, somewhere in their contract, they provide him with the further help he needs to deal with his drinking issues.Â
