Apple Unveils Three New iPhones And Price For New Streaming Service at Apple Event

It’s that time of year again, the time where Apple sells us on an iPhone similar to the one that we already have but we buy it anyway.

Apple unveiled three new iPhones Tuesday during an event held at its headquarters in California. One is a lower-priced iPhone 11, the second is a Pro version, and the last one is a Pro Max. This marks the first time Apple introduced a “Pro” series.

All three smartphones will be available for preorder on Friday, with shipping set to begin on September 20. The iPhone 11 prices start at $699, the iPhone 11 Pro at $999 and the Pro Max at $1,099.

Apple claims that the new iPhone 11 will feature the toughest glass ever, and as always they say that the battery life will last longer than previous versions. The phone comes in six colors: black, white, red, purple, green, and yellow.

The iPhone 11 will also feature a dual-camera system, one of which is a wide-angle camera for “ultra-wide” shots, a new night mode for taking pictures in low lit areas. It will also feature Cinematic video stabilization for taking videos and a 2X optical zoom. In addition, both the front and back cameras are capable of shooting 4K video.

The “Pro” series, which comes in two sizes: 5.9-inches and 6.5-inches for the Pro Max. The phone also comes in four different colors: silver, gold, midnight green and space gray.

iPhone 11 Pro comes with three camera lenses: wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto, which means the Pro can zoom in twice as close as the iPhone 11. The cameras will also feature new software that will optimize low-light photos. It has a revamped screen which Apple is calling the “Super Retina XDR Display.” Apple also said the iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max will be equipped with battery life that lasts up to roughly four and five hours longer than the iPhone XS.

Apple also shared more details on its Apple TV Plus streaming service, which was said to be designed to reduce its reliance on sales of devices. It will cost $4.99-per-month and launches on November 1.
