Where are all of the Day 1 ‘Love & Hip Hop New York’ fans? We’re talking about the fans who remember the days when Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin were in the mix and captivated the attention of so many who are now loyal viewers. Well, the show has been renewed for a 10th season, and quite a few OG members are returning.
According to TMZ, the new season is actually being shot right now in Brooklyn, and the cast will include new couples and exes as well as favorites from seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4.
The lineup reported by TMZ is as follows: Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin, Somaya Reece, Tahiry Jose (back from seasons 3 & 4), Joe Budden and Cyn Santana (they were previously engaged but have since broken up), Juelz Santana and Kimbella Vanderhee, Safaree and Erica Mena, Yandy Smith-Harris, Juju C, Jonathan Fernandez, Rich Dollaz, Danny Garcia, Erica Mendez and newcomer, Jennaske.
It has not been confirmed if Remy Ma and Papoose are being brought back for season 10, but there’s a chance we may see them.
According to TMZ, filming for #LHHNY started last week, and they were told that tensions are already high due in part to some cast members bringing ancient beef to the new season.
As some of you may remember, Kimbella and Chrissy got into a physical altercation back in the day after Kimbella revealed that she once had a past sexual experience with Emily B’s boyfriend, rapper Fabolous. We’ll have to wait and see if that beef is squashed.
